3 - 4 medium potatoes (& enough milk & butter to make mashed potatoes)
1 lb hamburger meat
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 can corn

Directions:
Directions:
Peel, cut, & boil potatoes until done. Mash with enough milk & butter to make regular mashed potatoes. Set aside.

Preheat oven to 350º. Brown 1 lb of hamburger with the seasonings. Discard the fat. Transfer the meat into an oven proof casserole & level out. Layer the corn over the meat. Next, spoon the potatoes over the corn until the potatoes cover everything. Bake, uncovered, for 20 - 30 minutes.

Your Dad ALWAYS made this with corn. Sometimes, he would sprinkle shredded cheese over the potatoes before baking. You can make it with other veggies, though. I would like to try it with fresh, sliced mushrooms, maybe?
