1 cup brown sugar
1/2 pound (2 sticks) butter
1 - 12 ounce package semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 sleeve saltine crackers

Directions:
Directions:
Melt brown sugar and butter in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Cover a jelly roll baking sheet with aluminum foil and arrange the saltine crackers in a single layer on the baking sheet to cover it. Pour the sugar-butter mixture over the crackers and bake at 400 degrees for 7 minutes. Remove the baking sheet from the oven. Immediately sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top and spread them over the entire pan while they are melting. Chill in freezer until hard. Peel off the aluminum foil and break into pieces. You may substitute milk chocolate for semi-sweet chocolate.
