As far as quantity of ingredients, it is up to you...some like more garlic than others some like more onions...just don't be stingy with the fresh BASIL!!

Italian Bread
Plum or Roma Tomatoes
Fresh Basil (preferably out of your garden :)
Calamata Olives (optional)
Fresh Garlic
Bermuda (or white) onion
Salt & Pepper
Olive Oil Balsamic Vinegar
Feta, Gorgonzola or diced up mozzarella cheese.

Brush bread with olive oil and toast in oven til crispy

Chop tomatoes, garlic onion, basil & olives. Marinade all ingredients in oil & vinegar, s & p. Slice bread on an angle, drizzle olive oil on baking sheet, dipping both sides of bread, place in oven and toast up.

You can either serve cold Bruchetta atop bread OR spoon atop slices and place cheese on top and toast until cheese is bubbly (quick broil...WATCH IT!)
