Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Large bottle of red wine (Merlot works well, but other reds work, too)
2 shots (oz) flavored vodka (I used Peach Vodka)
2 shots gin
1 shot Triple Sec
1 lemon, thinly sliced
1/2 lime, thinly sliced
1 orange, halved - then cut in wedges
1 cup pineapple chunks (with juice)
1 apple, cut in chunks
1/2 cup each of strawberries & grapes, halved
1 2-liter bottle Ginger-ale
Ice

Directions:
Directions:
Pour wine into a 3 quart pitcher. Add vodka, gin, triple sec, citrus fruits, pineapple, apples, & grapes. Chill in fridge for about 24 hours (at least, over night). Just before serving, pour in ginger-ale & strawberries. Serve over ice.

This is a VERY versatile recipe. I prefer to use fresh fruits. You can substitute club soda for some of the ginger-ale. In the winter - I like to exchange the ginger-ale with sparkling cider & add a few cinnamon sticks to the wine.

I said "for Anne" because I first made Sangria for her 30th birthday party. Fun times :)
