5 lb. beef tenderloin cleaned, trimmed and secured with butchers string
1 cup bourbon
1 cup brown sugar
2/3 cup soy sauce
1 bunch chopped cilantro leaves
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 cups water
3-4 sprigs fresh thyme

Prepare marinade by combining all ingredients in a glass dish or zip lock baggie. Cover and refrigerate overnight turning meat over several times. Either grill or bake in 350 degree oven until desired temperature.
