Filling:
2 30 oz cans of Yams or Sweet Potatoes, mashed
(or at least 3 c. cooked and mashed.
1 stick butter, melted (1/2 c.)
2 eggs
1 c. white sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. milk (you can use evaporated, regular, or skim milk.)

Topping:
1 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. flour
1/12 stick butter softened
1/2 c. pecans, chopped

Preheat oven to 350º

Filling: Beat eggs, sugar and butter then add milk and vanilla. Add to well-mashed potatoes and mix well. Placed mixture in a greased/or non-stick sprayed pan.

Topping: Mix brown sugar, flour and butter, making a crumb like mixture. If needed add a little more flour. Sprinkle over the top of the sweet potatoes, then sprinkle the chopped pecans over the topping. Bake 45 minutes at 350º.
