1 c. rice, uncooked
2 c. sour cream
½ lb. Monterrey Jack cheese, sliced
½ lb. Monterrey Jack cheese, grated
1 (4oz.) can of chopped green chilies
butter
salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cook rice as per instructions. Then mix with chilies, sour cream and seasonings such as cumin, garlic powder and pepper, to taste.
Arrange ⅓ rice mixture in a greased casserole dish. Add a layer of sliced cheese. Repeat twice. Dot with butter and seasonings to taste.
Sprinkle with grated cheese; a yellow grated cheese mix adds a little umph to it! Bake at 350ºF for 30 minutes.
