1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cornstarch
1 cup water
1 tbsp. oil

Directions:

Mix all together in blender. Let stand 30 minutes. Dip small pieces of fish in batter and deep fry in hot oil.

The picture is from Bruce. He, Dad, and Jimmy went to Lake of the Woods to Uncle Jimmy's fishing house to ice fish. Bruce believes this is the last Northern that Dad caught through the ice. They were up there for the weekend and slept in the fish house; wind chill that weekend was up to 50 below on the lake, but the heater in the fish house kept it fairly warm. They slept on fold out beds right in the fish house!
