2 sticks butter
2 c. flour
1/2 cup powdered sugar
4 beaten eggs
2 c sugar
4 T flour
1/4 c. lemon juice
1 T finely grated lemon peel (zest)
sifted powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 F. Blend butter 2 c. flour and 1/2 c. powdered sugar. Pat into ungreased 9 x 13 pan. Bake for 18-20 minutes. for filling, blend together eggs, sugar, 4 T. flour, lemon juice and lemon zest. Pour over first layer. Return to oven and bake at 325 F. for 20 minutes. Loosen around edges, cut into bars and sift powdered sugar over the top of bars.
