1 cup butter
6 T. confectioners sugar
1 t. water
2 cups sifted flour
1 cup nut meats
1 t. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter to consistency of whipped cream. Gradually work in flour, sugar, nuts in small accounts. Add vanilla and water, doubling water if necessary to make mixture cling together. Shape into balls or oblongs, size of a large marble and lay on cookie sheet. Chill in refrigerator then bake in 325º-350º until delicate golden brown. While still warm roll in confectioners sugar.
