1 pound rhubarb
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. water
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
2/3 c. milk
1 tsp. grated orange rind

Directions:
Directions:
Stew the rhubarb, 3/4 cup of sugar and water. In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt, second 3/4 cup of sugar, egg, milk, and orange rind together. Place in the bottom of an 8x8x2 baking dish. Cover with the stewed rhubarb. Bake at 350º for one hour.
