1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. sour cream
/2 tsp almond extract
2 c. flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt

TOPPING
1 c. sliced almonds
2 T. brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter, sugar and eggs. FOLD in sour cream. Add almond extract. Slowly add flour, salt and baking powder

Make topping by adding all topping ingredients into small bowl and mix well.

Layer batter in tube pan that has been well greased and floured.
add layer of topping mix followed by another layer of batter. Finish with layer of topping.

Bake at 350º for 55-60 minutes. Let cake cool slightly and then remove from pan.
