-Ribs
-Water or consommé (1 cup for each 4 lbs)
-Chopped onion or garlic salt, thyme, margarine or rosemary

- Cut in serving sized pieces
- Dip in flour
- Brown thoroughly in a heavy frying pan or dutch oven, pouring most of the fat as it accumulates
-Add consommé or water (1 cup for each 4 lbs)
-Add seasonings such as chopped onion or garlic salt and either thyme, margarine or rosemary
-Cover and cook slowly until tender (about 2 hours)
