10 medium potatoes
2 medium onions
1 1/2 c. oil
8 eggs
heaping T. salt
a few dashes black pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Grind potatoes and mix in rest of ingredients. (For this recipe, grinding comes out better than grating). Bake @400º until top is brown and crispy. Remove from oven. Brush top with oil. Then, slowly pour water on it until the kugel absorbs it like a sponge. Keep adding water until there's about an 1/8 of an inch on top. Cover very well and bake overnight for 14-16 hours @225º.
