1/2 cup melted butter
1 15 oz. pkg. of Oreo Cookies
1/2 gal. softened vanilla ice cream

1 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup melted butter
1 cup sugar
1 bar German Sweet Chocolate

1 9 oz. carton Cool Whip
Directions:
Directions:
Crush Oreo cookies and mix with 1/2 cup melted butter. Press mixture on bottom of 10 1/2" x 14 !/2 " pan. Freeze for 1/2 hour.

Spread 1/2 gal. softened ice cream. If ice cream is in a square carton--can make 8 slices to lay on top of crust and then smooth over. Freeze for 1/2 hr.

Mix evaporated milk, butter, sugar, and chocolate over medium heat. Bring to low boil and stir constantly for 15 min. Cool and spread over ice cream freeze.
Freeze for 1/2 hour.

Spread top with Cool Whip and top with chopped nuts or shaved chocolate if desired.

Store in freezer, but take out 10-15 minutes before serving
