3 oz. cream cheese
1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
1 lg. egg
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 dash salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2/3 c. chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first 3 ingredients well. Chill. Form into 24 balls and press into tassie pans. For filling, combine remaining ingredients. Fill each cup with scant teaspoon of filling-do not overfill. Bake at 325 for 25 to 30 minutes. Let stand for several minutes. Loosen carefully with tip of knife and gently remove to cooling rack.
