Cake mix:
• 1 cup flour
• ¾ cup sugar
• 2 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa
• 2 tsp. baking powder
• ½ tsp, salt
• 2 Tbsp. butter or shortening (melted)
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• ½ cup milk
• 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

Pudding mix:
• ¾ cup brown sugar
• ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa
• 1-3/4 cup boiling water

Cake mix:
Combine above ingredients in a mixing bowl. Beat medium speed until well blended. Spread cake into an ungreased 9”x 9” pan.

Pudding mix:
Combine pudding mix and stir until completely blended.
Pour pudding mix over cake mix in 9”x 9” pan. Bake at 350°F for 40-45 minutes, test with toothpick for doneness.
