1 lb. spiral noodles
2 14˝ oz. cans sauerkraut
water for steaming
8 T. butter
1 lg. onion (chopped)
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Cook noodles according to package directions; drain and set aside. Rinse sauerkraut and drain well to remove bitterness. In a saucepan, steam the sauerkraut in a little water for 20 minutes; drain. In skillet, melt the butter and sauté onions and sauerkraut until the sauerkraut is translucent and a golden color. Add noodles, salt, and pepper; mix, and heat thoroughly.
