1 1/2 lbs. chuck steak (cut into cubes)
2 large Bell peppers ( chopped)
2 large Onions (chopped)
2 cloves garlic (chopped)
1 small can green chilies
or
1 can Ro*Tel Chunky Diced Tomatoes & Green Chilies with liquid
1 large jalapeño
2-3 Tbsp Gebhardt's Chili Powder
2 cans (14 1/2 oz.) Stewed Tomatoes with liquid
1 small can (11 1/2 oz.) Tomato Juice
2 cans Kidney Beans
Shortening (to sauté & brown only)
Salt & Pepper (to taste)

Directions:
Directions:
Use shortening to sauté bell peppers, onions & garlic. Set aside.
Cut fat from chuck steak cubes. Coat cubes with flour. Use shortening, in a frying pan, to brown cubes. Set aside.
In a pot add browned meat, sautéed bell peppers & onions and all other ingredients.
Bring to almost a boil then reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 2 hours.
