1 c brown sugar
1 c white sugar
2 c shortening
2 eggs
4 c flour
2 t baking soda
1 t vanilla

Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening. add eggs. Sift together dry ingredients. Add to sugar and eggs. Add vanilla. Bake 10 - 12 minutes at 400º
