1 cup cooking oil
2 cups sugar
2 eggs - well beaten
3 cups flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp. vanilla
3 cups chopped fresh apples (if tart add 2 or 3 tbs of lemon juice and let stand for awhile. Pour 1 cup of sugar over apples)
1 cup nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Combine cooking oil, 1/2 cup sugar, and eggs.
Measure dry ingredients including flour and sift together.
Mix in rest of ingredients.
Add apples.
Grease and flour bunt pan.
Bake at 350º or 55 minutes or until done.
Completely cool before taking cake out of pan.
