I use only fresh fruits like blueberries, strawberries, bananas, grapes. The only canned fruit I add is mandarin oranges.

Make the sauce the day before and refrigerate. Add to fruit salad before serving.

Ground mace is a ground spice that derives from the dried aril of the nutmeg seed.

Arla gave me this recipe many years ago on one of many trips to Hugo. I have used it for family and friend gatherings through the years and have always had very complimentary comments. It is also good for a potluck gathering.
