3 egg whites
3 egg yolks
1 3/4 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cardamom
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg whites in mixer bowl until stiff but not dry. Beat egg yolks in large bowl until smooth. Add flour, baking powder, cardamom, and salt; mix just until moistened. Fold in egg whites gently. Place 1/4 c. batter in each cup of Aebbleskiver pan. Bake 4 or 5 minutes or until golden brown and knitting needle comes out clean, turning once. Serve with syrup, jams, jellies, or sugar.

Knitting needles work great to turn these... as do wooden skewers.
Tasty with a little grated apple in center....or jam
We discovered these in Solvang, CA, where they were served with raspberry jam.
