2 tablespoons butter
3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
6 tablespoons heavy cream
1 1/4 cups confectioner's sugar (or as needed)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Place all ingredients in a heavy saucepan over low heat and whisk until smooth.

Cool slightly.

Spread on cake while it is still warm.

I don't like when the frosting is too sweet, so I gradually add the confectioner's sugar and keep tasting until I think it tastes good. I don't always use that much confectioner's sugar.
