2 cup saskatoons/blueberries (I use 3)
1 3/4 cup sugar (divided)
3 tbsp margarine
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup milk
1 cup flour
1 tbsp cornstarch
2/3 cup boiling water

Directions:
Directions:
Put berries in 9" pan. Mix margarine with 3/4 cup sugar, add dry ingredients and milk. Spread on berries. Mix 1 cup sugar with cornstarch and sprinkle on batter. Pour hot water over all. Bake at 350º for 50 minutes
