sm. can crushed pineapple (drained) 3/4 cup drained crushed pineapple
3 cups flour 2 cups sifted flour

1 tsp b soda 1/4 tsp b soda
1 tsp salt 1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
1st recipe: Cream sugar, shortening, add beaten egg. Sift dry ingredients, add to creamed mixture with drained pineapple and vanilla. Drop on cookie sheets. Bake for 15 minutes at 375 º Cool on racks

2nd recipe: Cream together shortening, brown sugar, vanilla and egg, then add pineapple. Sift together dry ingredients the add walnuts, mix all together
Drop on greased cookie sheets Bake 12 minutes at 425º
