Ingredients:
Ingredients:
The Turkey:
1 - Turkey I'd say 16 -18 lbs . If you want more leftovers go for 18-20 lbs.
1 - Pan or Roaster that can hold the bird. It's better to have a rack on the bottom, but not essential.
Heavy Duty aluminum foil. Get the wide roll. This is cheaper than buying a covered roaster.

The Dressing (stuffing):
3 - boxes of "Jiffy" brand cornbread mix. (4 boxes if you want more dressing for the sandwiches later).
1 - decent sized bunch of celery (make sure it has plenty of leaves).
1 - lb butter
2 - cans chicken broth
1 - small jar of rubbed Sage (ground Sage is OK - find in the spice aisle).

The Gravy:
2- more cans of chicken broth
Flour

Other Stuff:
10 - lbs Russet potatoes for mashed potatoes
Whole milk for mashed potatoes and other stuff.
1- Potato "Ricer"- makes it easier to make mashed potatoes.
Peas with baby onions
Cranberries (canned)
Sweet potatoes
Pies
Bread
Wine
