Ingredients:
2 cups flour
1/4 cup shortening
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup hot water ( the hotter the better)

Directions:
In large bowl mix, flour, baking powder, and salt. Drop pieces of the shortening in the dry mix. Pour in hot water and mix by hand until it makes a large ball. Then make individual balls, a little larger than a golf ball. Should make about 12. Roll out with a rolling pin. You may have to dust dough with flour to keep from sticking. Do one at a time. Heat a pan to medium heat. Put tortilla in pan and cook for about 1 minute/brown and then flip for another minute. Put a plate in the oven or warm with a towel on top to keep tortilla soft.
