Betty's White Chicken and Spaghetti Recipe

3-6 Chicken breasts, halved
1 tsp Salt, add to taste
¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
2 tsp Black pepper, to taste
2-3 Sliced onions
6 cloves of fresh garlic or 1 tbsp garlic powder
½ cup Olive oil, just enough to cover bottom of large sauce pan.
1 cup Water/White Wine

Directions:
In large sauce pan, (one that will fit 2-3 chicken breasts on bottom), brown garlic cloves and onions lightly in oil. Repeat this process for remaining chicken breast halves.

Add chicken and fully brown on both sides. If using Garlic powder, season while browning chicken and add parsley.

Add water/wine, covering ¾ of the chicken. Cover and simmer being careful not to boil off the liquid. Check to flavor and salt.

After cooking for 1-2 hours, remove cover to boil off some liquid if necessary for stronger flavor. Serve with regular spaghetti. Let pasta and sauce set for 5 minutes before serving.
