Ingredients: - 1 1/2 C flour
-3/4 C butter
-3/4 C chopped nuts[walnuts or pecans
-1 8oz pkg cream cheese
-1 C powdered sugar
-12 oz container cool whip
-2 small pkgs coconut cream INSTANT pudding
-3 C cold milk
-1 can cherry pie filling
-toasted coconut

Directions:-1 st layer--mix flour, butter and nuts together. place in 13X 9 pan and bake 350 20 min. cool completely
-2nd layer-in med bowl mix cream cheese and powdered sugar well with mixer and then gently fold in 1 C cool whip. Spread over cooled 1st layer crust
-3rd layer. In large bowl of mixer beat the 2 boxes of pudding with 3 C milk and beat til thick. Pour evenly over 2nd layer.
-4th layer. Spread cherry filling over 3rd layer evenly.
-Top off with remainder of cool whip and sprinkle with coconut, plain or toasted
* A variation for chocolate lovers could be using chocolate pudding in place of coconut, just make sure it is Instant. It could then be Black Forrest Dessert

Notes: My husbands sister Winnie made this for us once and Fory loved it and I asked for the recipe and when she copied it she named it "Fory's Favorite Dessert"
