Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. wheat flour
1 tbsp. granulated sugar
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. fresh herbs, chopped (I like dill and chives)
1 c. sharp cheddar cheese, finely grated
12 oz. beer, cold works best
2 tbsp. sunflower seeds (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375°F. Coat a 9x5 loaf pan with nonstick spray; set aside.
Whisk together flour, wheat flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and herbs in a large mixing bowl. Add in cheese and stir in beer just to combine.
Spread batter, which will form into a ball, evenly into prepared pan.
Sprinkle with sunflower seeds, if using. (I moisten top with a beaten egg). Bake on middle rack of oven about 45-55 minutes.
Remove from oven and cool in pan for 20 minutes. Transfer loaf to cooling rack for 10-15 minutes, before slicing and serving. Serve warm.

Personal Notes:
Let me tell you, this bread is so wicked good; just don't drink too much beer during the preparation stage. Wait until done and have the bread with cheese and beer!
