"A man who was fond of wine was offered some grapes at dessert after dinner. "Much obliged," said he, pushing the plate aside; "I am not accustomed to take my wine in pills."--Jean Antheleme Brillat-Savarin, The Physiology of Taste

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
4 parts pineapple juice
1 part orange juice (some variation here - some people like 2 parts)
1 part cream of coconut
Pusser's Rum®, to taste (about 2-4 parts)
Lightly sprinkle with freshly grated nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Serve over crushed ice. The freshly grated nutmeg is essential.
When bare boating, we use plastic gallon water jugs to make them, which works out to about a bottle of rum, a BIG can (46oz.) of pineapple juice, one small (12oz.) can of orange juice and 1 large (12oz.) can of Coco-Lopez®. This makes up just under a gallon.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Remember there really is no substitute for Pusser's Rum in a Painkiller. This, like other island drinks is properly served only in a disposable "red" plastic cup.
