2 lbs. lean beef stew, cut into 1 inch cubes (do not brown first)
6 medium carrots cut into strips
3 medium potatoes, peeled and quartered
1 medium onion, sliced into rings
1/2 cup thickly sliced celery
1 cup diced canned tomatoes
1 cup water
3 tbsp. quick cooking tapioca
1/2 cup soft bread crumbs

Directions:

In a large bowl, combine all ingredients.

Spoon mixture into a 3 quart baking dish that has been coated with nonstick cooking spray.

Cover and bake at 325º for 3 1/2 hours or until meat it tender.
