Ingredients:  
Dressing: 1/2 tsp salt, dash of pepper
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar
1/4 cup oil
dash of red pepper sauce
1 tbsp. snipped and chopped parsley
1 tbsp. poppy seed
Salad:
Cook 1/4 cup sliced almonds
Romaine lettuce, chopped celery and green onions with tops
1 can Mandarin oranges - drained

Directions:
Directions:
Shake dressing and refrigerate
Cook almonds in 1 tbsp. plus 1 tsp sugar over low heat in fry pan - stirring constantly. Cool and break apart.
Tear lettuce, add celery and onions plus 1 can Mandarin oranges -
Just before serving add dressing and almonds. Toss until well coated.
