3 cups plain flour
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoon ginger
2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon spice
2 tablespoon margarine
1 cup milk
1 cup treacle
2 teaspoon soda
2 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour and spices onto a bowl, add sugar and mix.
Melt butter, add milk and warm slightly before adding treacle and soda.
Beat eggs and add to liquid
Pour gradually into dry ingredients
Mix lightly
Bake in Moderate oven for approximate. 1 hr.
