1 lb cheddar cheese, finely chopped in food processor
1 C chopped nuts (optional)
1 C mayonnaise
1 small onion, grated
Black pepper to taste
dash of cayenne pepper

Serve with strawberry preserves and crackers.

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cheese, nuts, mayonnaise, onion, pepper, and cayenne. Mold with hands into desired shape or put in cheese mold.

Place in refrigerator until chilled. When ready to serve, put mold in warm water to loosen (if used mold), invert and fill center with strawberry preserves (otherwise serve with preserves on side.)

Serve with crackers.
