Ingredients:  
1/2 c milk
2 - 1/2 T flour
pinch of salt
1/2 c granulated sugar
1/2 butter
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine milk, flour and salt. Cook until thick and looks like a gob of goo. Cool to lukewarm. Cream sugar and butter, add to milk/flour mixture. Beat until light and fluffy, add vanilla.

Recipe courtesy of Edna Martin, one of Mom's friends. Mom always spoke of this recipe almost with reverence. I think she really liked it, but I don't remember her ever making it!
