24 chicken wings/drumettes
1/2 cup melted butter
1 /4 cup hot pepper sauce
(or to taste)
3 Tbs. vinegar
2 pkgs. Hidden Valley Ranch Buttermilk Recipe
Original Ranch Salad dressing mix
1/2 tsp. paprika
Celery sticks

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Dip chicken in mixture of melted butter,pepper sauce and vinegar; put in baking pan.
Sprinkle with 1 pkg dry dressing mix. Bake 25-30 minutes or until browned. Sprinkle with paprika. Serve with celery sticks and prepared Hidden Valley Ranch Salad Dressing Mix as dip.

Well the handwritten note ON this recipe actually says Lucia's Christmas Cocktail Party dated 12-10-1988. I never would have thought that Lucia would approve of "a chicken wing" appetizer...but then maybe this is the recipe that prompted the ban?
