1/4 c butter
4 onions thinly sliced
1/4 c flour
4 c beef stock
1/4 c sherry optional
Salt
Pepper
Bread cubed
Grated cheese
Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter over low heat add onions..cook till tender
Sprinkle in flour.
Stir for 5 min
Add beef stock simmer 15 min
Season salt and pepper
Put soup in oven proof bowls put bread on top
Sprinkle with cheese
Broil 3 min till cheese bubbles
