Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 package commercial pita bread (7 inch size is best.)
Olive oil
course salt
dip of your choice

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 300 º F. Using a pastry brush lightly coat one side of the pita bread with olive oil being sure to brush oil right to the edges. Cut the pita bread into pieces (it is nicest if you can make triangles). Note that the pita bread will be two layers thick. Place the pieces of pita bread in one layer on an ungreased cookie sheet. Sprinkle with coarse salt to taste. Place in the oven for a few minutes until the pita bread is lightly toasted. Watch carefully as it goes from nicely cooked to burnt very quickly. Can be used warm or at room temperature to dip in salsa, antipasto, hummus, etc.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Be careful not to over salt. Salt can be omitted.
A cookie sheet with sides is easiest to use so the chips don't slide off when you are moving the tray around.
Can also make this recipe using tortilla wraps.
