1½ cup light brown sugar
1½ cup sugar
1 cup evaporated milk
½ tsp vanilla
2 tbsp. margarine
2 cups pecan pieces

Directions:
Directions:
Mix 1st three ingredients and cook to soft ball stage (use candy thermometer)
Add vanilla, butter and nuts; stir until glaze is gone.

Spoon out onto waxed paper in desired amounts. You need to be quick and get them onto the waxed paper or you will wind up with one big praline.

These are really good. This candy is a Louisiana thing, although you can find them in other southern states.
