1 egg, beaten
1 c sugar
1½ oz. chocolate squares
3 T milk
½ t vanilla
2 T butter or oleo

Directions:
In saucepan, combine ingredients. Cook until large bubbles appear, like pudding. Remove from heat. Beat until cool and thick. Double recipe for 2 to 3 layer cakes.
