1 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. chopped garlic
1 T. parsley flakes
1 T. basil
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 cups diced tomatoes
12 oz. tomato paste
1 T. sugar
lasagna noodles (9-12)
24 oz. cottage cheese
2 beaten eggs
2 tsp. salt
1/2 pepper
2 T. parsley flakes
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
1 lb. shredded mozzarella

Directions:

Brown meat, add garlic, 1 T. parsley flakes, basil, 1 1/2 tsp salt, tomatoes, paste and sugar. Simmer until thick. Cook noodles, drain and rinse with cold water. In another bowl, mix cottage cheese, eggs, 2 tsp salt, pepper, 2 T. parsley and parmesan. Place small amount of meat mixture in bottom of 9X13 pan. Add 3 noodles, 1/2 the cottage cheese mixture, 1/2 the mozzarella cheese and top with 1/2 the meat mixture. Repeat. bake 45 minutes at 375º. Let stand 10-15 minutes. Cut into squares.
