Ingredients:
Louie's Italian Beef au jus Seasoning
3 lbs Sirloin beef roast
Water
Green peppers 1-2 sautéed
Onion 1 sautéed
Butter to saute peppers and onion in
Hot peppers if desired
Buns
Choice of cheese

If making Beef Stew you need the first 3 ingredients, mixed vegetables of your choice and amount, 1 onion, 1 large can of tomato juice, 4 cups of beef broth, A1 and Worcestershire Sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Follow the recipe on the back of the package of Louie's Italian Beef au jus seasoning. Very simple.

In a crockpot take 3/4 cup of water and mix the package of seasoning until dissolved. Place roast in the crockpot and roll roast in mixture. Pour more water into crockpot until the roast is covered.

Cook on low heat setting for 8-10 hours. I usually put it on before bed and then it is done in the a.m.

After it is cooked simple take 2 forks and shred the beef into bite size pieces. It takes a couple of minutes as the meat is so tender. Leave all the broth in the meat mixture for flavoring.

Serve on hoagie buns or sub buns with your choices of cheese, hot peppers, sautéed green peppers and onion if desired. For added flavor take some melted butter and add garlic powder or fresh pressed garlic and spread over bun and then toast the bun for 15-30 seconds until golden brown in broiler or oven.

I always cook two roast at once. Then you can freeze in small containers for easy dinners.

I also make beef stew out of this. Just cook your meat as instructed above and set aside leaving all broth in the meat mixture. In a very large pot add one can of tomato juice, 4 cups of beef broth, cook mixed veggies of your choice and amount over medium heat in the tomato juice and beef broth mixture with one onion until tender. Add A1 and Worcestershire Sauce to taste. Add meat mixture to veggies. I sometimes add thin noodles, or barley, or potatoes to my tomato mixture when veggies are cooking depending on what I am in the mood for.
