8 T cocoa
4 c sugar
½ c Karo™
1 c Pet Milk™
¼ t salt
4 T butter
1 t vanilla
1 c nuts, coarse chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Cook first six ingredients over medium low heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Boil slowly until few drops form soft ball (234° - 241°) in cold water. Cool at room temperature until lukewarm. Add vanilla and nuts. Beat until candy holds shape. Then knead with hand until candy can be shaped into 2 rolls 1” in diameter. Cut in slices.
