1 1/2 Tbls dried basil
1 1/2 tsp ground thyme
1 1/2 Tbls dried oregano
1 1/2 Tbls minced garlic
1 Tbls sugar
1 Tbls dried parsley
2 tsp onion powder
2 tsp paprika
2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
3 lbs ground beef
2 lbs ground pork
(1) 6.9 lb can of tomato sauce
(1) 12 oz can of tomato paste
Directions:
Directions:
Brown the meat in a large stock pot over medium heat -break up the meat
Add the seasoning.
Add the tomato sauce and paste.
Cook on low for several hours or in a slow cooker.
Let cool before you add the pasta to freezer bags.
Freeze.
To serve, I thaw the bag in the fridge overnight or if I’m in a rush, I run the bag under water for a bit before pouring the frozen sauce into a saucepan and re-heating on low.
