2 packages Pillsbury crescent rolls
2 cups sugar
1 stick butter
2 cups water
1 package frozen yam patties
cinnamon sugar

Directions:
Directions:
º350 for 30-45 min.
Roll out crescent rolls, cut each yam patty in half (use 1/2 yam per roll).
Place yam in roll and seal all sides. Once all are rolled and sealed place in a greased casserole dish.
In a saucepan, heat sugar, butter, and water and boil for 2 min.
Pour over dumplings in dish and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar to taste.
Cover with foil and bake till golden brown. Uncover for last 15 min. if needed.
