1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream the oil, egg, vanilla and sugar. Add the flour, baking powder and salt. Drop by teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart on a greased baking sheet. Make a dent with a floured thumb and drop 1/2 tsp. jam into each space. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
