2 lb pkg hash browns
500 ml sour cream
10 oz can of mushroom soup
1/2 cup or less melted margarine
1/4 cup minced onion
Salt & pepper to taste
2 cups grated cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Thaw hash browns in large bowl 1 hr before.
Add onions,salt , pepper,and cheese and toss together.
In a separate bowl mix sour cream, soup, and melted margarine.
Mix well , then pour into large bowl.
Mix thoroughly.
Spread in a 9x13 glass baking dish.
Bake @ 350º for 1.5 hrs until brown.

Also known as Funeral potatoes in Mormon circles , this was one of my favorite dishes especially for Sunday Dinner because you always seem to feel like you are starving on a Sunday afternoon and all that cheesy goodness comforts the soul!
