1.75 liter of Vodka

6 cups water
4 cups sugar

1 cup water
12 tbsp. instant coffee
2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Mix 6 cups water and 4 cups sugar in a large pan. Bring to a boil to dissolve sugar. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.

Mix 1 cup water, instant coffee, and vanilla until the coffee is dissolved.

Add coffee mixture to water and sugar. Add vodka and stir.

Drink over ice or add to milk to make a sombrero. Enjoy!

An old friend named Norma first made this for me many years ago except she added glycerin to hers. I was never able to find any so I omitted it from my recipe. I can't say I noticed a difference.
